Senior Scientist in the field of spectrophotometric analysis systems (m/f/d)

Your Perspective

In this exciting position, you will be part of our dynamic development team. You will work closely with various departments and play a key role in the technical development and optimization of modules for the spectrophotometric analysis of blood. You will support the design and validation of these systems for clinical testing environments and contribute to the development of calibration methods and algorithms.

Through your analytical skills and expertise in spectroscopy, you will significantly contribute to the innovation and advancement of our technologies. Your interdisciplinary approach and strong communication skills will foster collaboration within the team and with external partners, thus having a significant impact on the success of our projects.

Your Tasks

Development and optimization of algorithms and calibration methods.
Technical development and optimization of a module for the spectrophotometric analysis of blood.
Participation in the design and validation of spectrophotometric measurement systems for implementation in clinical testing environments.

Your Qualification

Completed Master's degree or PhD in Physics, Biophysics, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, Technical Mathematics, or a related field.
Extensive experience in spectroscopy and the design of optical sensors.
Extensive experience in the application of chemometric methods.
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Ability to work in a team
Flexibility

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced programming and data analysis skills, ideally in Python and/or MATLAB.

Software Developer (m/w/d)

Your Perspective

In this exciting position, you will be part of our innovative development team in the field of medical laboratory equipment software. You will act as an interface between different technical disciplines and contribute significantly to the success of our projects with your expertise in software development. With your know-how in C++, Qt and the development of graphical user interfaces, you will implement sophisticated software solutions and ensure the highest quality and safety of our products through the implementation and maintenance of unit tests. Your work is not only technically demanding, but also of central importance for the satisfaction of our customers and the further development of our software solutions in the medical field. Your ability to work independently and flexibly, as well as your knowledge of agile software development, will make you an indispensable member of our team.

Your Tasks

Design and implementation of software for laboratory equipment in the medical field in accordance with ISO 62304:

Collaboration in the creation of the software architecture and development of software concepts
Development of application software using C++/Qt
GUI development using C++/Qt
Documentation of software architecture and concepts
Implementation and maintenance of unit tests for critical software parts
Development of software interfaces to peripheral and host systems (e.g. LIS2-A2, HL7, production, remote maintenance in the field, etc.)

Your Qualification

Completed specialist training (TU, FH) in the field of computer science, telematics or comparable training
At least 3 years of professional experience in object-oriented software development with C++
Knowledge of the Qt framework, ideally also Qt Creator and Designer
Experience in planning and implementing automated tests (unit tests and/or test frameworks)
Experience with software version management systems (e.g. git)
Basic knowledge of Linux
Experience in working with Jira and Confluence
Knowledge of agile software development (e.g. SCRUM)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Ability to work in a team

Your Tasks

Strategic Marketing and Communication:

Responsible for corporate marketing and communication efforts at EXIAS.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement global marketing strategies spanning both online and offline platforms.

Marketing Plan and Budgeting:

Determine annual marketing activities and budgets in collaboration with sales and management.

Event Management and Coordination:
